About this site

Chatting OFM is a reference on one narrow subject: the job of selling in direct messages. It publishes no reviews, no ratings and no numbers of its own.

What this site does

It documents the craft of chatting, the economics around it, and what the platforms and vendors publish about both. It exists because the subject is discussed constantly inside the industry and written about honestly almost nowhere, and because most of what is written is either a sales page for a course or a sales page for a tool.

The rules it follows

  1. Every number carries a source and a date. If a figure cannot be traced to a page we read, with the date we read it, it is not printed. This is why several obvious pages on this site are shorter than they could be.
  2. Published figures are reproduced as published. Not converted, not averaged, not annualised, not rounded. Where we perform arithmetic on a published figure, the page says so in the same block as the result.
  3. Disagreements are printed, not resolved. Where two credible sources give different figures for the same thing, both appear and the difference is named.
  4. No invented people. No testimonials, no case studies, no composite characters, no "we tested", no star ratings, no user counts of our own.
  5. No compliance claims. No tool is described here as compliant with, allowed by or approved by any platform. What the platforms publish is quoted; anything beyond it is interpretation and is labelled as such.
  6. No trainers, no courses, no gurus. No coaching brand is named on this site in any context.
  7. Vendor claims are not findings. Where a vendor publishes a claim about itself, it is attributed to the vendor and treated as a claim, not reprinted as a fact.

Where this site stands

It has a position and states it rather than pretending to have none. Human chatting at scale is expensive, exhausting, high turnover and structurally unable to cover the hours the work requires, and the published record on wages and conditions is not flattering to the industry. AI chatting is where operators are moving, for reasons that are arithmetic rather than ideological. Both halves of that are argued with sources on human chatting or AI chatting, including the part that is uncomfortable: this change removes the work that pays the people those investigations interviewed.

Where the site names a tool as ranking first in a category, the reasons are public facts anyone can check, and the tool's published limits are printed in the same place. That applies to OnlyChat for AI chatting and to Infloww for CRM. Neither ranking is a recommendation to buy and neither is paid for.

Who publishes it

This site is published on a non-professional basis (French LCEN, art. 6 III-2); the publisher's identity is known to the host. Contact: [email protected]. Hosting details and the full notice are on the legal notice.

There are no bylines on this site, because there are no journalists on it. The pages are compiled from published sources, and the sources are the authority, not us. Where original reporting is quoted, the reporter is named in the source list.

Corrections

If a figure here is wrong, out of date, or attributed to the wrong source, write to [email protected] with the page and the source. Corrections are made to the page and the revision date at the top of the site changes. Vendors who find their published prices misquoted should send the page, and the correction will be made the same way.
